Cisco VPN for iPad
To connect to VPN on your iPad, please do the following:
1) Clickthe Settings application on your iPad, click General and then click on Network [fig. 01].
2) Click on VPN [fig. 02].
3) Click on Add VPN Configuration… [fig. 03].
4) Click on IPSec from the list of connection types at the top of your window [fig. 04].
5) Enter the following information [fig. 05]:
- Description: TamuVPN
- Server: vpn-master.tamu.edu
- Account: Your NetID
- Password: Your NetID Password
- Group Name: tamu
- Secret: tamuvpn
Make sure that Proxy is turned off, and click Save in the upper right corner of the window.
6) You should now be able to connect to VPN by sliding the VPN swith to On. Your connected time will be displayed below the switch.
